All TAKS tests will occur Tuesday through Friday. Monday is a normal school day.

If students are not testing on a certain day, tney need to eat before you come to school at 12:30. At 12:30, go to the auditorium unless an administrator communicates different instructions. If a student’s only transportation is by school bus, and he/she can’t get a ride to school at 12:30, then arrive at the auditorium at 8:35 and bring something to work on.

Additional Info:

  1. Students need to arrive around 8:20 so that testing can begin promptly at 8:35.
  2. Remember, NO lunches will be served in the cafeteria. Students will eat their lunches (BROUGHT FROM HOME) once the regular day schedules resumes with 3rd period. Extended testers will eat in the cafeteria when instructed to do so. No lunches will be delivered to students by the office. Students must bring their lunch when they arrive at school for testing. The cafeteria will have a few sack lunches available for purchase, but students need to reserve one beforehand. Other than serving breakfast and allowing students to pick up sack lunches, the cafeteria will be CLOSED. Don’t forget to pick up any sack lunch reserved in the cafeteria before checking in with the teacher in assigned testing rooms.
  3. If at all possible, leave your cell phones home. Phones will be turned off and taken up in your testing room. If you have followed the cell phone policy, your phone will be returned to you before you leave your testing room. If it goes off or is used at ANY TIME, YOUR TEST WILL NOT BE SCORED!!!!!

Remember our district cell phone policy:
“If you are found to have a cell phone in your possession during this testing session, the phone will be taken up and I (test administrator) am required to report the incident to our campus test coordinator. If this occurs the incident will have to be reported to our Administrative Officer of Student Assessment who will work with others to decide if your test can be scored or if it will be voided and not allowed to be scored. Obviously we do not want this type of situation to invalidate any of your tests, so please turn in any cell phone that you might have in your possession to me at this time.”
