North Mesquite High School Football and Basketball has been religned to District 12-5A. The new alignment starts for the school year of 2012-2013, the basketball alignment lasts for one year, and the football alignment last for two years. The teams they will compete with are: Longview, Mesquite, Mesquite Horn, Rockwall, Rockwall-Heath, and Tyler Lee. • English TAKS Tutoring
  English TAKS Tutoring is Today from 4:00-5:00. 10^th and 11^th grade OER will meet in D4. 10^th and 11^th grade Objective 3 will meet D7 and D9. Check your invites and attend the correct REQUIRED or Recommended session. Bus transportation to your neighborhood elementary campus will be provided.
• Got Spirit?
  Do you want to be a 2012-2013 North Mesquite cheerleader? If so, it is now time to pick up you applications in B17 or C10.
• Valentine's Day Photos
  Seam Team, North Mesquite's sewing club, is taking Valentine's photos for their fundraiser. For just $10, your photos will be turned into an 11 X 7 poster. This is the perfect Valentines gift for friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, or loved one. Orders and pictures will be taken during all B-day lunches Febuary 2^nd-10^th as well as A days before school and during home basketball games. All posters will be delivered Febuary 13^th.
• Students taking an AP Exam!
  Attention all students taking an AP Exam: We are taking deposits beginning this Wednesday, February 1^st through Thursday, March 1^st. The deposit is $13 for each test taken. You will need to pre-register in the Counseling Center with Ms. VanMeter before paying your deposit to Ms. Hill. Deadline to pay is Friday, April 20^th.
• Member of PTSA or would like to join?
  Seniors are you a member of PTSA or would like to join for $7? If so see MS. Brice for a scholarship opportunity available only for North Mesquite Seniors.
• Seniors were you ever in Destination Imagination?
  If so see the scholarship wall. The deadline to mail this application in is February 13^th, so don’t procrastinate!
• Do you need your updated transcript?
  Attention Seniors: If you have been waiting on an updated transcript with new rank and GPA, you may now come and request them in the Counseling Center.
• Class of 2013 Hoodies
  Class of 2013 hoodies are here! Come by room G-201 to pick yours up after school. Please do not come during class time. There are a very limited number of extras available. If you are interested in buying one, they are $20.
• Last Year Book for Seniors?
  This will be your last year in high school…your last high school yearbook. Shouldn't this one be really special?
  
  Your personal ad can feature photos of you and any school-appropriate thing you want it to say.
  
  Senior ad prices are $65 for 1/8 page, $115 for 1/4 page, $200 for ½ page and $325 for a full page. The larger the ad, the more photos you can include.
  
  You can create and submit your own ad layout art, or a yearbook staffer can create it for you using photos, images and words that you provide.
