MISD Joins Poteet to "Go Green" !

MISD's mission is to reduce waste and promote green habits.

2009 - 2010 District Goals are:

• Implement a robust, single-stream recycling program in each facility
• Educate the students, faculty, and community on green living
• Establish a framework and incentives for additional "green goals" at all facilities

Recyling efforts under way at PHS:

The H.O.P.E. club collects all contents from the various "recycle" bins in each teacher's classroom each week.

Paper
Plastic
Drink Boxes
Cardboard
Styrofoam
Aluminum cans (no liquid)
Plastic bottles (no liquid)
