ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
My name is Misti Christenberry. This is my fourth year here at the Academy and with Mesquite ISD. I grew up in the small town of Dalhart , TX in the Texas Panhandle. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University . I am Texas Certified to teach English, Science, Social Studies and Math grades 1 st -8 th . I have taught Anatomy and Physiology and special education at Randall High School in Amarillo , TX , and also 6 th grade social studies at Henderson Elementary in Forney , TX . I have taught 6 th grade self contained here at the Academy in the past. I currently teach 7 th and 8 th grade English, Science, and Reading .
I am married to Cody Christenberry. Cody is a coach and math teacher at Rockwall High School . He teaches Algebra and coach's girls' basketball and volleyball. We have two children, Nash (6) and Zoey (1).
My favorite things to do are spending time with my family, camping, fishing, and checking email.
