The Options program offers a Campus of Choice alternative high school setting allowing non-traditional students to work at an accelerated pace on individualized curriculum to achieve a high school diploma. An application is made through the counselor at the student's home school. Once a student begins the High School Options program, he/she remains enrolled in that program for the entire school year. Students who graduate while in the Options program, graduate from Mesquite Academy.
Three different programs are available:
AM Program
Monday-Friday
8:00 a.m. - 12:10 p.m. PM Program
Monday-Friday
12:50 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Night Program
Monday-Friday
*On Friday students must come to either the AM or PM Session.
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The Options program offers the same core academic classes as other high schools and many of the same elective courses. The students enrolled in the Options program are working towards a high school diploma.
