About Our School:
C.W. Beasley Elementary School , named for Mr. Cecil Wolford Beasley, was opened in 1981. Mr. Beasley started his teaching career in 1929 and left education briefly to serve in the US Navy during World War II. After the war, he completed his Master's degree at SMU and joined the Science Department at Mesquite High School in 1947. In 1957 he was promoted as the first principal at Agnew Junior High and in 1964 he began his tenure as Assistant Superintendent of Personnel until his retirement in 1977. Mr. Beasley passed away in March 1991.

Guidelines for getting and keeping
our children well:
- Children should stay home from school with a temperature of 99.6 with symptoms or temperature of 100.0 or above without symptoms
- IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CHILDREN BE FEVER FREE FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE RETURNING TO SCHOOL
- If your child has a rash on his trunk or face, please contact the school nurse before sending the child back to school
