MISD email will be converting from Groupwise to Exchange over Spring Break. Monday, March 12 will be the last day you will be able to send or receive email from Groupwise. Our email will be down on Tuesday. On Wednesday the new system will be in place and ready for use. From that date, groupwise will only be used as a reference for past emails.

Instructions for Accessing Web Access
Mac - Web Access
- Recommend Browsers - Safari or Firefox
- Open internet
- Enter the URL - https://exmail.mesquiteisd.org/owa
- Certificate Warning pops up - Click Continue (This site is Secure)
- Under Security Options - select one of the following:
- This is a Public or Shared Computer (connection will timeout in about 15 minutes)
- This is a Private Computer (will not timeout for several hours)
- Enter your User Name
- Enter your Password
- You should now be in your mailbox
Do not leave mailbox active on any computer that others have access to.
PC - Web Access
- Recommend Browsers - Internet Explorer 6 or Higher
- Open internet
- Enter the URL - https://exmail.mesquiteisd.org/owa
- Security Alert pops up - Click Yes (This site is Secure)
- Under Security Options - select one of the following:
- This is a Public or Shared Computer (connection will timeout in about 15 minutes)
- This is a Private Computer (will not timeout for several hours)
- Enter your User Name
- Enter your Password
- You should now be in your mailbox

Groupwise Information
All email currently in GroupWise will be accessible through summer 2008. New email will not be delivered to GroupWise. It will only be available in Outlook web access. Existing emails in GroupWise will not be automatically transferred over to Outlook. Users will be able to forward important emails from their old GroupWise account to their new Outlook account. Users will need to recreate personal address groups. These will not be transferred from GroupWise. District level groups will be transferred.

Online Training
Outlook features and functions are in many ways aligned to GroupWise. Users will be accessing Outlook utilizing web (internet) access. Online training has been developed and will be available for all MISD users to view through the MISD website.
