Position: Food Service Manager - Elementary

Description: Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Food Service Manager. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for the supervision, training, and management of the campus food service operation.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Food Manager Certification

Preference will be given to applicants who:

• have prior experience in institutional food service operations
• have knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and appliances used in food preparation
• demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
• possess effective planning and organizational skills

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary: Pay Range: $16,079 - $22,468; 184 days

Employment begins: August 15, 2011
