Professional Application Process

We appreciate your interest in MISD. Please fill out the online application to complete your file. Your application will be placed in the active file for consideration as vacancies occur in your field. A letter each six months will keep your file active. Please call the personnel office when you have questions (972-882-7368 or 1-800-955-MISD).

Please use the following check list to complete your file with Mesquite ISD:

	Teacher Insight Interview To begin the application process, click here. You will need to reserve at least 45 minutes to take this multiple choice and free response instrument; there are no right or wrong answers. Please read the instructions carefully before beginning (answers are timed). If you have completed the teacher insight interview with another entity, please transfer the information to Mesquite ISD by going to the above website and entering our district code number. The code number to access or to transfer the interview online is 20701800. THE TEACHER INSIGHT INTERVIEW MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE ONLINE APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED.
	Teaching credentials A copy of your Texas teaching certificate or, Letter of recommendation for a teaching certificate from your university or, A copy of your out-of-state certificate or, Confirmation letter from an approved alternative certification program will be provided by the applicant.

	Completed Application THE TEACHER INSIGHT INTERVIEW MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION. Click here for online application. AOL users click here for application.
	Not required, but will enhance file: Copy of transcripts (required if hired) Verification of scores of teacher certification exams (i.e., TExES, Praxis, etc.) Resume Prior evaluations

As stated in Policies & Procedures Handbook (PDF), employees will be required to adhere to professional dress standards as specified by the district (including no facial hair).
