P.E.
Physical
education at Kimbrough is perhaps one of the most enjoyable experiences
for our students. It is Coach Holmes and Coach Stehman's goal to
make the class as FUN as possible so that each student is challenged while
having a great time with others.
Every
six weeks we are committed to teaching our students 2 or 3 different sporting
units. Each unit is composed of the following: history of
the sport, rules and procedures, basic skills and techniques, and then
ending the unit by playing the actual sport in a tournament format.
At the end of the six weeks, our students will then take a cognitive test
over the material learned.
Besides
learning about sports, our students will also experience a variety of
activities. Kimbrough Physical Education does not have the philosophy
of “just rolling out the ball”. We know your child will love our class!
