ASSIGNMENT

Each student will be responsible for researching a major city in the United States. You will be need to find the following information:

  • History
  • Geographic Location
  • Population (diversity, religion, cultures, economics)
  • Commerce, Trade, Industry
  • Attractions (universities, amusements, recreations, sports, etc.)
  • Miscellaneous (famous people from the area, nickname, etc.)

 

PRODUCT

  • A shoebox float representing your city
  • PowerPoint presentation
  • Research paper

In the search box for the online catalog put the name of the citiy you are researching. For example, Dallas, New Orleans, Houston, etc. You may also look up the state.
