LIVE ON-LOCATION NEWS REPORT

LANDFORMS

You are a famous and very reliable news team with the

A gnew B roadcasting C ompany.

Your team has been selected to handle a very important assignment. You will be researching how a famous landform was formed.

After you have completed your research on your landform, you will do your live broadcast informing your TV audience of what you have found.

You will have a limited amount of time in the computer lab and library. It is important that you work together with the other researchers in your group to succeed!

There are three parts to your project:

•  A typed script, which is followed during your presentation.

•  A poster or some type of visual aide ex. Power point

•  An enactment of a news show: Stay in character. Props and costumes are a plus.

Here are some things to include in your broadcast:

•  What landform you are reporting on?

•  Why do we need to know this information?

•  Where is it located?

•  What are the weather patterns that occur in the area?

•  Be sure to include all the information you found during your research time.

•  Make it exciting!

You must have your entire script written out. At the end of your broad cast you will turn in your project folder, which needs to include all the items from your research and broadcast.
