LIBRARY STAFF:

Our library is staffed with two full-time librarians. Mrs. Sharon Harman is a certified teacher with a Secondary level Biology specialization and an all level (K-12) Learning Resources certificate. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Baylor University (sic 'em Bears!) and has a Masters of Library Science from Texas Woman's University. This is her tenth year at MHS.
Mrs. Marnie Cushing is new to Mesquite High School this year. She taught English and U.S. History in MISD before becoming a librarian five years ago, and just celebrated her tenth year with the district. She graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Science degree in English and her Master's of Library Science is from Texas Woman's University.
Our library assistant, Ms. Linda Orr, is no stranger to MHS. This is her fourth year in the library, and she is actually a former Skeeter graduate. She has 11 years of experience in the public library and enjoys helping students find what they need.
