Nurse's Notes
Please screen your child’s head periodically. If you see any nits or live lice, the hair should be treated. You can purchase over-the-counter shampoo at any pharmacy. Some brands are Rid and Nix. But don’t stop with only the shampoo. The sheets and all of the clothes must be washed in hot water and place all stuffed animals in a plastic garbage sack for two weeks. Check the rest of the family’s hair as well. I have material on how to get rid of lice in the clinic, you may stop by anytime or send a note to school with your child.
