DANCE FIELD TRIP
Dance 3/4 had an amazing field trip last week. We toured the Winspear Opera House and got an unexpected tour of the Dallas Black Dance Theater and the company happened to be rehearsing. At the Winspear, we were able to get on the stage and see some dressing rooms. We met so many different people who shared their educational background and left us with some inspiring words.
Dallas Black now wants to come out and give us an African dance class. We enjoyed lunch outside the Winspear and some food trucks happened to be close by. It was so exciting for all the dancers to meet the people they did and to find art in other places.
