I will be completing my 15th year as an educator in Mesquite ISD this school year.  I was born and raised in Iowa, but moved south because of my love for the Dallas Cowboys.  I earned my BA at the University of Northern Iowa, and my Masters from A&M Commerce.  I am currently working on my doctorate in Supervision, Curriculum and Instruction.  It is a challenging and very rewarding undertaking.  It helps that I truly love to learn.

I have been married to Tim, a teacher at West Mesquite High School, for six years. I am also proud mom of Nicolas who is five years old and Mary who is almost three.  I'm always happy to share pictures of them!  

I truly believe that Motley Elementary is the greatest school on the planet.  The children, parents and staff make Motley a wonderful place to be.  I'm looking forward to another memorable, amazing year.  Parent questions and concerns are always welcome. I will respond to your emails and voice messages as soon as I can. 

I work part-time at Motley, and my workdays are:  Tuesdays and Thursdays - full days, and Friday afternoons.
