The North Mesquite High School girls' basketball team will be participating in Coaches vs. Cancer when they host Tyler Lee on Friday, January 18. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at North Mesquite High School.

NMHS coaches will be wearing pink and coaching in tennis shoes.

Mesquite ISD encourages Lady Stallion fans to wear pink, and a portion of the proceeds from the game will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
