Kindergarten Registration for the 2008-2009 school year for all MISD elementary schools will be held on each individual campus on Thursday, May 8 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 pm and on Friday, May 9 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2008 to attend kindergarten.

Parents must bring the following information with them to register their kindergarten child:

• parent’s proof of residency in the district,
  
• the child’s birth certificate or other suitable legal document,
  
• child’s social security number if he/she has one,
  
• child’s immunization record, and
  
• the parent’s driver’s license.

If the student requires testing for bilingual kindergarten, an appointment time for language testing will be given to the parent during registration.
