• ATTENTION STUDENTS:
  It's time for Reflections, PTA's annual arts competition. This year's theme is "Wow". For more information contact any fine arts teacher or see Mrs. Croupe.
  
  
• The PSAT will be administered at NMHS on October 15th. The cost is $13.00. The deadline to pay for the test is Wednesday, October 1st... No Exceptions.
  
  
• Congratulations to Ted Wayne, North Mesquite Junior, who was recently named as one of three captains for the MISD swim team!
  
  
• Show your spirit by participating in the Stallion Spirit days.
  
  
• Talent Show Tryouts and Talent Show MC tryouts will be after school on Tuesday, October 7th. You must sign up for a specific tryout time outside of B-11. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Lene in room G-200.
  
  
• Homecoming 2008 is just around the corner. Find out all of the important details HERE! Examples of dress code will be posted in the school soon.
  
  
• Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meet every Thursday in room D-1 at 3:45 and on Fridays at 8:00 am at the fieldhouse. All students and teachers are welcome to attend.
  
  

• Teacher Tutoring Schedules
  The administrators and teachers at North Mesquite would like to thank the parents and students who attended Open House. Please take a few moments to review the teachers' tutoring schedules for the 2008-2009 school year.
  
  
• This year's Fair Day Holiday will be Monday, October 6th. Have a safe and fun day!
  
  
• Attention Seniors:
  The deadline for taking your senior yearbook picture at Prestige Studios is October 17th. See Mrs. Maldonado in C-2 if you have any questions.
  
  
• Teachers, David Crook will be at NMHS on Tuesday, October 14th to help with this year's Annual Benefits Enrollment. The Annual Enrollment deadline is Friday, November 14th.
  
  
• Would you like to make NMHS a GREEN Campus? If so, join the Environmental Club! The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, in room F110. See Mrs. Brightwell or Mrs. Egger for more information.
