- All students are expected to be in their assigned classroom on time.
- Students will be considered tardy if they are not in the classroom upon completion of the ringing of the tardy bell. Students in the room but not in their seat will be considered present. Teachers are welcome to make these occurrences part of their classroom discipline policy.
- Students will be allowed to incur 1 (one) tardy a semester per class without consequence.
- The tardy process will start over second semester for each student.
- The tardy policy will be laminated and posted in each classroom.
Consequences are as follows:
- 2nd Tardy: 15 to 30 minute detention, assigned by teacher
- 3rd Tardy: Office referral, morning detention - Semester exam exemption is nullified
- 4th Tardy: Office referral, Wednesday afternoon detention
- 5th Tardy: Office referral, 1 day in ISS
- 6th Tardy: Office referral, 1 day in ISS
- 7th Tardy: Office referral, 2 days in ISS
- 8th Tardy: Office referral, 1 day HBI
- 9th Tardy: Office referral, HBI/MIC (appropriate time)
