North Mesquite Spirit Days Schedule

| August 29th | Striped Polo Day "Cage the Eagles" | Students may wear polos with any type of stripes this day. All other standard dress rules apply. Striped oxford shirts are approved for this day. | |
| September 5th | Face Paint Day "Cover up the Raiders" | Students may paint their faces to show their NMHS spirit with appropriate blue and white stallion colors. All other dress code rules apply. | |
| September 12th | Tye Dye Day "Tie up the Panthers" | Tye Dye shirts will be sold during the week by the cheerleaders that will be made out of blue and white tye dye with a stallion logo on them. Those shirts could be worn this day. shirts must be tucked in. All other standard dress rules apply. | |
| September 18th | Crazy Sock Day "Sock it to the Cardinals" | Crazy socks may be worn. Students may not tuck their pants into your socks. All other dress code rules apply. | |
| October 2nd | Crazy Hair Day "Out do the Colonels" | Students may only color hair with stallion blue and/or white and have glitter. All other dress code rules apply. | |
| October 9th | Neon Day "Out shine the Eagles" | Students may wear neon polos and accessories such as shoes, socks, jewelry, etc. All other standard dress rules apply. | |
| October 17th | Blue Out Day "Blue out the Jags" | Any blue shirts: Solid, organizational shirts and any blue t-shirt that any club sells to support NMHS. All other standard dress rules apply. | |
| October 24th | College Day "Out smart the Lions" | Students may wear college t-shirts to represent their favorite. All other standard dress rules apply. | |
| October 27th Monday | Lei Day "Lay out the Skeeters" | Students may wear leis all day. All other clothing must be in Standard dress. | |
| October 28th Tuesday | Boot Day "Stomp the Skeeters" | Students may wear any kind of boots. (I.e. cowboy boots, rubber boots, UGG boots, snow boots, etc.)Pants may be tucked into boots for this day only. All other standard dress rules apply. | |
| October 29th Wednesday | Hat Day "Top the Jags" | Students may wear any type of hat in the classroom and around the campus. All other clothing must be in standard dress. | |
| October 30th Thursday | S.W.A.T. Day "Swat the Skeeters" | NMHS SWAT team shirts will be sold by the cheerleaders on presale and will be worn this day. All other standard dress rules apply. | |
| October 31st Friday | Dress Up Day "Out dress the Skeeters" | Dresses for girls must be knee length, no midriffs, no strapless dresses or tops, no low cut, no back showing, no spaghetti straps, and if it has a slit must not be higher than fingertips. Boys must have shirts tucked in. It is requested that all students wear their Sundays best. NO JEANS MAY BE WORN! If not participating in dress up, students must be in regular MISD standard dress. | |
| November 7th | Show your class day "Show up the Raiders" | Class Officers will design and sell class shirts prior to this spirit day. On this day each class will wear their class shirts. Each level will be assigned a school color for their shirts. Seniors will be black, Juniors blue, Sophomores gray, and Freshmen white. If students cannot purchase these shirts at the beginning of the year, than they may wear a polo the color of their class shirts on this day. | |
