Being a NMHS Blue Prints Newspaper member will require you to spend some time at school events getting photos and/or doing interviews. Sometimes you will also need to stay after school to finish your pages, but if you work diligently, that time will be minimized. As a member, you will have special privileges (as long as you do not abuse them) to go off campus to sell advertisements, get into school functions free of charge, free access to design programs, and professional cameras. Newspaper is a fun class, and if you enjoy graphic designing, journalism, or photography, you will have a blast. However, you are required to do work and finish your pages on time for printing deadlines. Failure to work will result in your privileges being revoked, and possibly being dismissed from the staff. As long as you do your work, you will have an easy time.

Joining the Newspaper staff requires a personal interview, recommendation of your current English teacher and signed consent of Mr. Coursey, Newspaper Advisor. If you're interested in seeking a position on the NMHS Blue Prints Newspaper staff, come by Room C2 to see Mr. Coursey.
