Poteet All-Sports Booster Club
The Booster club is a group of parent volunteers who work together to support all Poteet athletic activities.
Involvement includes:
- Listening to and approving requests for athletic equipment from all coaches.
- Awarding a minimum of 4 college scholarships to deserving male and female athletes.
(Booster Club membership required for scholarship application.) - Coordinating, decorating, funding and chaperoning the homecoming dance and the fall and spring sports banquets.
- Selling advertisements and assembling the All-Sports Program. (This is the largest fundraiser.)
- Selling Poteet merchandise at sporting events.
- Putting up and taking down flags, banners and other decorations at sporting events.
The Booster Club meets in the Poteet library every monday during football season. The first meeting is Monday, August 25 at 6:00 PM. All other meetings will start at 7:00 PM. Meetings occur every other week during the remainder of the school year. In addition to conducting needed business, each meeting will also include the introduction of coaches and student athletes. Membership is only $10.00 per individual, or $20.00 for a family. Please plan to join the Booster club and help support Poteet's athletic activities.
