Kyle Wisdom Received 1st Place at the Mesquite ISD Film Festival!
The First Annual Mesquite ISD Film Festival was held Friday night, May 11th. The six finalists' videos were shown, then three awards given.
The Grand Jury Prize was awarded to Kyle Wisdom from Poteet High School for his music video "Dry Bones".
Special Jury Prize was awarded to Jonathan Alvarez, Ramiro Martinez, Joseph Avery, Jimmy Samuel, Vicky Chappa, and Melanie from Mesquite High School for their film "Blind Terror". And, the Viewer's Choice Award was won by Jack Nystrom, Joaquin Hernandez, Jessica Gonzalez, and Leo Romero for their film "A Brief Chase".

State TSA Competition
Several students competed in the State TSA Competition April 1 - 3 in Waco, TX. Poteet received 3rd Highest Point Totals! A first ever for Poteet. Great job students!
