Are you interested in building good character in your child's school? Now is your chance! volunteer today to help our teachers be ready for tomorrow. Your help is greatly needed.

Here are a few things you can do:

Making copies, field trips, putting books together, Book Fair, Pumpkin Patch, Special projects, shelving books in the library, classroom crafts/art, parking lot patrol, reading with students, assisting with hearing screenings, sorting papers, decorating doors/hallways, cutting, pasting, laminating, making food preparations, making die cuts,

Room Representatives Needed

No experience is required. For those of you not familiar with this position, it is very easy. You simply work with the teacher in making and scheduling the parties for you child's class. There are two parties a year. Parties are for Winter Break and Valentine's Day. You send letters to the parents requestig their help with food or party favors/contributions. If you are interested please contact Courtney Chandler.

Membership

We are starting our annual enrollment for PTA this week. Our goal is to reach 110% in membership. The cost for membership is $4.50 per person.

For every 5 membership names turned in their name will be submitted in a drawing. We will draw every week for six weeks. Four prizes will be awarded to 2 boys and 2 girls to receive a $15.00 gift card to either Toys R Us, Target, Wal-Mart, Hot Topic, Games Stop or Foley's, etc.

If a child turns in three names they will receive a special prize as well. If your child turns in 1 name they will receive a punch ball.

Each grade with the most membership will receive a skate party at Westlake Skate.
