TIGER BASKETBALL

This Wednesday, February 10th, the 8th Grade Boys Basketball A-Team from Terry Middle School will be competing in the Gatorade All-Star Jam Session Invitational. This is a metroplex-wide tournament that is being held at the Dallas Convention Center. The tournament is in conjunction with the NBA All-Star game and as such will be attended by NBA players and representatives. Jam Session is also this years host for special events such as the Celebrity Game, The NBA Legends game, and the NBA All-Star Practice.

This is quite an honor for Terry. We are the only boys team in Mesquite that was asked to participate. Our first game is Wednesday night at 7:45 pm on the “Red court” vs. Lang Middle School. Coupons for discounted ($5) tickets have been handed out to students. Come support our Terry Tigers.

CAMPUS VISITORS . . .

All visitors to Terry Middle School (parents, guardians, volunteers, contractors, etc.) will now be required to present a valid state issued ID in the office. The ID number will be entered into the new V-Soft computer system. V-Soft helps track visitors, students, faculty, contractors and volunteers at our school, thus providing a safer, more monitored environment for the students.

V-Soft also has the capability to provide alerts on people who may jeopardize the safety of the campus.

We at Terry feel certain that this will help keep our campus a little safer, and ask for your cooperation in presenting a valid state ID when checking in at the school. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
