Athletic Events Announcement

In efforts to maintain a safe and orderly environment at ALL school athletic events, the TMS administration has implemented the following policies:

Students must sit in the student section (in front of the cheerleaders) unless accompanied by a parent
If students choose not to sit in the student section, they must remain seated with parents
Students are allowed to visit the restrooms at halftime and after each game
Students may ONLY visit the concession stand between games or as they enter the facility
Students must wait for their turn at the concession stand--cutting in line is not permitted
Students should not be under the bleachers at any time
Students may not stand along the railing or on the stairs between bleacher seats
There is no running allowed at any time

According to the MISD Code of Conduct (page 21), teachers and administrators have full authority over student conduct at school-sponsored events, and students are subject to the same rule
