Congratulations to Our Varsity Volleyball
Girls Varsity Volleyball competed in the Royce City Tournament and received 3rd place. Click here to see the Volleyball Webpage.




Congratulations to Our Wrangler Cheerleaders
The 2010-11 cheerleaders attended cheerleading camp June 12-15, 2010 at UTA. Congratulations to all squads who were AMAZING! Each night the girls were evaluated on either a cheer or dance they learned at camp and they received a superior ribbons (the best) each night. They also received Spirit Sticks. On the final day of camp, both squads (Varsity and JV/Freshman) won overall superior camp trophy.

Varsity received first place trophies for camp champ in the cheer and dance division. Varsity was voted the best leadership award (voted on by the other teams at camp) and also received the traditions award.

JV/Frehsman received a first place trophy in camp champs for the cheer division and second for the dance division.

Five girls made All-American Cheerleader; Keyerra Mozee, Atavia Garner, Kametria Clayton, Azhea Humphrey, and Natalie Martinez. Three cheerleaders were also selected for their leadership abilities by other teams; Kesha Hutchinson, Clarissa Rodriguez, and Kametria Clayton. Our mascot, Preston, also made All-American and brought home a trophy with all superior ribbons. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Our Lariette Drill Team Officers
Lariette 2010 officers Alexia Wright (Major), Amanda Tibbitts (Captain), and Treasure Duru (Lieutenant) attended Dancelines Irving Officer Camp June 7-10, 2010. They received a Super Sweepstakes, Best Team Introduction, Top 3 Choreography, and all three of the officers made Dancelines Elite Performing Group. Congratulations!

Wolf Brand Chili Label Collecting Contest - $5,000 Prize!
Wolf Brand Chili is supporting Texas high school football programs this year in a number of ways!
At E.H. Hanby and Memorial Stadiums, you will see Wolf Brand Chili signage, hear announcements over the PA, and receive schedule magnets and recipe books. A Wolf Brand Chili commercial has already aired on NBC news that was filmed at Memorial Stadium and featured one varsity football player from each high school. Also, not only will MISD Athletics receive a donation from Wolf Brand Chili, but the high school who submits the greatest number of Wolf Brand Chili labels at the end of this campaign will be awarded $5,000. So, Wranglers, bring your Wolf Brand Chili labels to school, drop them in the bins located on campus and let's win the $5,000 prize!

You should find all the information needed to contact them or have your student attend tutoring. If you have questions regarding a specific class, please e-mail that particular teacher.
