What Is Academic Decathlon?
| Academic Decathlon (often simply referred to as "AcDec") is an academic competition designed for high school students to prove their intelligence and scholastic prodigy on a nationwide scale. Teams use everything they learn in-class to be able to compete with high schools across the nation. The team strives to win at several meets: district, regional, state, and finally national, in that order. The members of each AcDec team not only learn more throughout their time in AcDec, but they grow as a family as they come to respect, care for, and love each other and the works they study together. |
