- Cheer ability, flexibility and presentation
- An outstanding work ethic
- Good grades and a good relationship with teachers and administrators
- A flexible schedule and an open calendar
- A positive attitude, be self motivated and have a sense of teamwork
- Leadership ability
- The ability to follow rules and to pay the consequences when the rules are broken
