"As head of the softball program, my goal is to bring interest to the sport of softball here at West Mesquite and to use it as a tool to teach students about competition, hard work, commitment, teamwork, and self discipline. Our team's purpose is to take the things that we learn, use them on the field against our opponents in competition, and use them in every aspect of our lives.

The interest in West Mesquite Softball has gone up over the last 6 years. The number of participants has increased as well as the enthusiasm for the sport. We have been preparing for this season since the beginning of the school year. We have worked hard over the off-season and we began our after school practices on Friday, January 21. We would love for our student body and staff to come out and support the Lady Wranglers!" -Coach
