The number of lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases and associated quarantines reported to Mesquite ISD are posted here and updated each Wednesday for the prior week. Student counts include students attending school on campus and VLA students who attend a program on campuses.

CASES refer to lab-confirmed cases. 

QUARANTINED refers to individuals who are not allowed on campus due to close contact exposure to a person with COVID-19 (either at school or elsewhere) and individuals who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. A quarantined person will only appear in the count for the week when his/her quarantine period began, regardless of whether the quarantine period includes two different weeks. Note that a reported case of COVID-19 does not necessarily result in other individuals being quarantined.
