Bria Bell’s superpower is storytelling. Although she retired her broadcasting mic, Bell has found a way to share her talents in the corporate sector. As Vice President and Speaker Bureau Lead at J.P. Morgan Chase, she leads the Speakers Bureau for North America and Latin America, which includes partnering with internal and external stakeholders to develop leadership engagement and strengthen speaker positioning at industry events. Bell has seen great success in her career - all moments that aided her growth as a professional.

A Voice That Inspires

Bell began her professional career as a TV reporter - a position she held for almost a decade. Throughout her career as a journalist, she had stints in Iowa, North Carolina, and her hometown of Dallas. In the world of journalism, there are always pressing topics to cover, and Bell has experienced many career-defining moments. She interviewed presidential candidates during the 2016 election, battled Midwest blizzards on-air, and led coverage for the CBS affiliate in Charlotte during the 2020 George Floyd and Black Lives Matter protests. Before joining J.P. Morgan Chase, Bell also served as the Director of Marketing at a tech software startup in Dallas.

Her impact expands far beyond her responsibilities at work. Bell is heavily involved in the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and serves as a career mentor for first-generation college students at Louisiana State University (LSU). In 2023, she was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Dallas.
