The significance of 22 is that every day there are 22 veterans who commit suicide because of PTSD.

"The challenge was that the Hersh Foundation would donate $100 for every person filmed completing 22 consecutive push-ups," said Assistant Coach Chris Schaar. "This means that with 160 student-athletes, our kids and program helped raise $16,000 for veterans suffering from PTSD, Schaar said.

"We are proud of our student-athletes for helping to raise awareness and funds for our military service members who serve and pay the ultimate price," said Schaar.
