Stadium Seating |
Memorial stadium seats a total of 20,000
The home side grandstands seat 10,000, including 2,400 reserve chairback seats.
The visitor side grandstands seat 10,000, including 2,400 reserve chairback seats.
Wheelchair accessibility and viewing are on both sides. |
Playing Surface |
| The field is an FieldTurf Monofilament playing surface. |
Scoreboard & Sound System |
The field features a 36’x42’ Daktronics scoreboard.
The scoreboard has a high resolution 14’x18’ instant replay/pro star video screen.
The stadium has a state of the art Dodge electronics sound system. |
Dressing Rooms |
Home and visitor dressing rooms are 1200 square feet.
Each dressing room has 70 lockers.
Separate Coaches’ meeting rooms are provided in each dressing room. |
Stadium Regulations |
Dressing Rooms
Dressing rooms will be opened 2.5 hours prior to game time. |
Ticket Gates
Ticket gates will be opened 1 hour prior to game time.
There are no in and out privileges. Reentry requires the purchase of a new ticket. |
Pressbox
Pressbox will open 1.5 hours prior to game time.
Admittance to pressbox is by PASS ONLY. All passes are acquired from MISD Athletic
Department in advance.
Radio/Press must call in advance to have passes waiting. |
Playing Fields
No metal cleats may be worn on the turf.
Use of tobacco, sunflower seeds and gum prohibited.
Only water can be used on the field. No colored drinks such as Gatorade may be used on
the field.
Absolutely no glass bottles, cans, or food allowed on the field.
All equipment such as training table, fans and heaters must have a protective base make
arrangements with the stadium manager.
No live mascots are allowed.
Band props must not mark or scar the field such as chairs, ladders, etc.
Only personnel with sideline passes can be on the field spectators are not allowed on
the field before or after the games. |
Stadium Bleachers
Absolutely no climbing over the rails from the bleachers to the field.
Spirit signs must be made of vinyl that can be tied to the stadium railing. No paper/ painted signs.
Taping of signs to any stadium structure will not be permitted.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO CROSSOVER by the spectators from home side of
the stadium to the visitor side of the stadium or vise versa. This includes band parents. |
Press Box |
Press Box is 3500 square feet with 3 levels.
Press area is on the 2nd level and seats 8 people.
Scout area is on the 1st level and seats 20 people.
The visitor coaches’ booth is located on the 2nd level and seats 3.
The visitor radio booth on the 3rd level seats 2.
The home coaches’ booth on the 2nd level seats 5.
The home radio booth on the 3rd level seats 4.
Field phone communication system from coaches’ booths is provided for 2 coaches.
Snack bar with refreshments is provided on the 2nd level.
A video booth is located on the 3rd level. Visitor video balcony located outside of
pressbox on the north end. |
Concession Stand & Restrooms |
Concession stands/restroom facilities are located in the concourse area of the
stadium.
Men’s and women’s restroom facilities are located near each concession stand.
All concession revenues are retained by MISD. |
Entry Gates |
Two entry gates/ticket booths are located on each side of the stadium.
West ticket booths (Gates 1,2) are located on the home (press box) side.
East ticket booths (Gates 3,4) are located on visitor side. |
Parking |
The stadium has 2,000 parking spaces with additional parking spaces adjacent to the
stadium. Parking is free.
There are bus parking spaces for teams and support groups. |
Rental Fee |
| The rental fee is $4,000 for 3A and below and $4,500 for 4A and 5A. |
MISD Provides |
Security, ticket personnel, gate keepers, clock operators, PA announcer, stadium
manager, field preparations, cleanup, maintenance crew, and lights.
Tickets for sale at the gate.
Dressing rooms for each team ice and soft drinks provided for team.
Field phones for coaches 4 phone wire system.
Pay all game expenses and provide a financial report within ten working days following
the event. |
Competing School Provides |
Provide MISD Athletic Office with a copy of all passes to be honored and number of
complimentary passes.
Sign and return the Stadium Use Contract.
Schools must provide a roster by Monday prior to game day fax to the Athletic Office
at 972-882-7400.

Provide MISD Athletic Office with a copy of pregame tickets sold and a ticket report. |
