Skeeters Fall in State Championships

The Mesquite High School Skeeters lost to undefeated Duncanville 36-49 in the first round of the state championships at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin on Friday, March 9, 2007.

It was MHS' first-ever trip to the state tournament. The Skeeters defeated Klein Collins 67-61 in overtime the previous weekend to clinch their trip to state finals.

100 years of football history may be purchased in the Mesquite ISD Athletic Office, or at any of our five high schools. The athletic office is located at 329 E. Davis Street in the Administration Annex. The books are on sale Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m., to 4:00 p.m. You may also purchase books at the home varsity football games at E. H. Hanby and Memorial Stadiums.
