Public information plays a vital role in shaping and maintaining a positive image of the district and keeps the public informed of MISD activities and issues facing the district. Public information deals with news media and provides general information to the public.
This subdivision is responsible for the release and promotion of newsworthy items. During the course of a school year, public information deals with an average of 400 stories in various newspaper, television, and radio reports.
