Find a short story: Use the "Power Search" tab in the catalog and set "Type" to Book. Search the title of your story or your author's name. Most short stories will be in the Story Collection (SC in the catalog), but some may be in the Fiction section. If another high school in Mesquite has a book with your story in it, we will be happy to use an interlibrary loan (ILL) to get it.

Find literary criticism: Search the Library Catalog on your author by using the "Power Search" tab. Set "Type" to "Book", and put your author's name in the subject line. Literary criticism will be in the 800 nonfiction section. Use the Table of Contents and the Index to find criticism on your selected short story.
