Mesquite ISD staggers start times for its campuses to better accommodate the more than 3,000 students who ride buses each day. The bell schedule for Mesquite ISD schools is as follows:
All elementary schools are on the 7:55 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. bell schedule.
All middle schools are on the 8:15 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. bell schedule.
All high schools are on the 8:35 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. bell schedule and follow a block schedule calendar of "A" and "B" days.
The Mesquite Academy has its own schedule to accommodate its modified instructional programs. For more information about the Mesquite Academy school hours, call (972) 882-7570.
