Description: Ongoing project-addition and complete renovation to the existing building. Addition of 41,508 sq. ft. and renovation of 38,853 sq. ft. Addition consists of: gym, library, administration area, music room, art room, 14 classrooms and a new kitchen. Renovation areas include: cafeteria, computer lab, teacher work rooms, music room, and 23 classrooms. Renovation also upgrades the following items to bring them up to current codes and MISD standards; ADA, roofing, energy codes, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, Texas Education Agency classroom standards, technology improvements and site traffic improvements.
