Emerging Leaders

The mission of the Mesquite ISD Emerging Leaders Program is to grow empathetic, effective, and resourceful leaders through historical study, skill development, and diverse leadership opportunities.  Students will cultivate their unique abilities to lead and influence others to make an impact on their community.

I am the future.
Using tools to open doors locked by challenge and adversity,
I am the key.
Following in the footsteps of everyday heroes,
I am an apprentice.
In a society divided by differences,
I am a uniter. 
The journey before me is demanding, but I do not take it alone.
