Empowering Students, Inspiring Joy Through Tailored Learning

AYO, a name rooted in a Yoruban word meaning "great joy," is our innovative approach to tailoring learning at Mesquite ISD. It goes beyond standardized education to focus on what truly matters, igniting a child's unique passions and aptitudes, because each student unique value and infinite promise.

How AYO Empowers Your Child

AYO is a web and mobile platform owned and created by Mesquite ISD to help us empower students to take ownership of their education. This initiative helps us move from standardized education to one based on an individual's passions and aptitudes to inspire and enhance each student's educational journey like never before.

Discover: AYO helps students by suggesting new opportunities such as interests, campus and district extracurricular activities, courses, certifications, endorsements, further studies and more.

Develop: Through AYO, students can enhance their natural talents and skills, using its personal leadership development pathway and by setting ambitious goals, building confidence along their educational journey.

Thrive: AYO keeps students engaged, motivated, and connected, maximizing their potential and setting them on the path to success.

A Partnership for Success

Mesquite ISD is committed to supporting all learners. AYO's user-friendly web platform and mobile app provide valuable insights to our dedicated educators.
