Due to the ongoing winter weather advisory, unsafe road conditions, and extreme low temperatures forecasted through Monday, Mesquite ISD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26.
The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families remain our highest priority. District leaders will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and road safety and will share an update if additional changes become necessary. Please continue to monitor district communication channels for updates.

Mesquite ISD offers the 60 Plus Perks Card (formerly known as the Senior Citizen Gold Card) to all supporters over the age of 60. The 60 Plus Perks Card enables holders to attend school district activities held in Mesquite ISD facilities, including school concerts, musicals, plays, athletic events, and much more, free of charge. The only exception is UIL playoff games. In addition, Garland ISD and Richardson ISD will honor the MISD 60 Plus Perks Card for free admittance to Mesquite competitions against Garland and Richardson schools (again, with the exception of high school varsity football games).
If you have a Senior Citizen Gold Card or 55+ Card, it will still be honored. There is no need to request a 60 Plus Perks Card.
To obtain your personal 60 Plus Perks Card, contact the Mesquite ISD Communications Office at 972-882-7404 or complete the online form linked below.
