Making a Difference Standard

We believe every person has the ability and responsibility to positively influence the people and world around them.

Standard of Excellence recognition in this area celebrates initiative, leadership, problem-solving, and meaningful impact beyond oneself.

Examples might include student-led efforts that improve a campus or community, solutions to districtwide challenges, successful efforts to address attendance or family engagement, or collaboration among campuses and departments that produces meaningful change.

What makes it exceptional: People see an opportunity or challenge, take ownership, and create meaningful change.
