Athletic Facility Rentals
Thank you for your interest in renting a Mesquite ISD athletic facility. Mesquite ISD has partnered with Facilitron, a facilities management platform, to handle all facility requests. As of March 3, 2025, selected athletic facilities on our middle school and high school campuses will be available to our community to rent through the Facilitron site.
In order to rent a Mesquite ISD athletic facility, prospective renters will need to create an account through the Facilitron system. The system will allow renters to access photos of the facilities, see real-time availability, get estimated quotes for rentals, and pay online 24 hours a day. The only way to request use of a district facility is through a Facilitron account.

Insurance Requirements:
Any organization making use of any District facility shall secure and maintain, at its expense, general liability insurance with an “admitted carrier” licensed in the State of Texas. A Certificate of Insurance (standard Accord form) shall be furnished with each rental (uploaded to Facilitron) and shall be presented to the District with a signed Facility Use Agreement and payment. The certificate shall show on its face the following:

- Include a Waiver of Subrogation endorsement in favor of the District.
- Minimum Coverage and Limits
- $1,000,000 Aggregate General Liability
- $1,000,000 Products and Completed Operations Aggregate
- $1,000,000 Personal Injury and Advertising Liability
- $1,000,000 Per Occurrence General Liability
- $ 100,000 Damage to Rented Premises
- $ 5,000 Medical Expense (Optional)
Self-insured entities will need to provide a letter annually.
Rental Guidelines:
- Organizations requesting use of Mesquite ISD athletic facilities must submit a request at least 14 days prior to the date of the event.
- All requests for campus athletic facilities will be approved or denied by the campus principal or designee. All requests for district athletic facilities will be approved or denied by the executive director of athletics or designee.
- Renters must provide proof of insurance and payment, 10 days prior to their event or the event will be subject to cancellation.
- Mesquite ISD reserves the right to cancel any reservation at any time if the facility is needed for a Mesquite ISD sponsored event.
- Mesquite ISD shall not be responsible for any accidents arising out of the renter’s operations. The renter shall be fully responsible for the safety of its operations and its employees, clients, invitees, visitors, and others associated with its activities. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Mesquite ISD, its directors, officers, and employees harmless from any and all claims, judgments causes of action, costs, and expenses resulting from injury to or death of any person or damage to any property, to the extent caused by the negligent actions or omissions or willful misconduct of the renter’s agents, servants, officer, employees, invitees, subcontractors, or suppliers in connection with the rental and use of Mesquite ISD’s facilities.
- Damage of Mesquite ISD facilities and/or equipment must be paid for in full by the organization that submitted the application for use of the facility.
- Renters must give notice of a cancellation 72 hours in advance of their rental through the Facilitron site. If at least 72 hours of advance notice is not given, the renter will be responsible
Concessions/ Food Service:
Mesquite ISD Athletic Booster Clubs have first right to operate any event. If the clubs decline the opportunity, then the renter will be notified and can host their own concessions. If the renter will be hosting their own concessions, they will NOT have access to the concession stands, and they will be responsible for obtaining all required permits and comply with all laws and regulations. Anyone hosting concessions without prior approval will be charged and may be denied access for future rentals.
