Volunteer in Mesquite ISD
Mesquite ISD welcomes and encourages parents, grandparents and guardians, as well as other patrons of the district, to become involved by volunteering their time on our campuses. Reach out to your campus to discover how you may volunteer. However, you must be approved by the district as a volunteer before you can get started.
All individuals interested in volunteering in Mesquite ISD must undergo a Volunteer Criminal History Record Check before volunteering on a campus.
As of Oct. 1, we have launched a new volunteer registration platform on this page. Volunteers previously approved between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2024, will NOT need to reapply in the new system. Campuses have access to the approval list of cleared volunteers.
Those who apply will receive email communication from Raptor with each step of the application they complete, notification if their application is awaiting approval, notification of approval or denial, and notification 30 days and 15 days before their application expires.
Note: Volunteering in this capacity does not apply to Athletics. To coach in the state of Texas you must meet all UIL Coaching Requirements.
