Acceptance of orders verbally or otherwise without an authorized purchase order or district credit card is done at risk of non-payment. Only authorized Mesquite ISD personnel are able to obligate funds on the district's behalf. Any contract, purchase order or other document signed by anyone not listed below will not be considered binding and legal in any manner. Campuses and other departments are not separate legal entities and are therefore not able to enter contractual arrangements separate from the district as a whole. 

Only the following administrators from Mesquite ISD are authorized to sign contracts or obligate funds for purchases on behalf of the district:

Sabreana Smith - Chief Information Officer

Cara Jackson - Chief Technology Officer

Kody Groves - Executive Director-Athletics

Don Pool - Executive Director - Construction Services

Scott Thomas - General Counsel

Darci Hooten - Director of Purchasing (Purchase Orders)
