Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Mesquite ISD offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided through The Standard.
Services are available at no cost to all Mesquite ISD employees and their dependents. Dependents comprise official spouse of MISD employee children under age 26 (includes children away at college and marital status does not matter status does not matter). Enrollment in the Mesquite ISD health program is not required to use the EAP.
All services are confidential and available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Information shared with EAP professionals is protected under confidentiality laws and cannot be shared with your employer without your consent.
Face-to-face counseling, as well as online services and information are available.
The EAP can help with the following types of issues:
- marital and family
- parenting
- alcohol and drug problems
- aging parents and elder care
- relationships
- anxiety and depression
- legal and financial problems
- stress management
- and more
