Special Education & Bilingual Teaching Opportunities
In Mesquite ISD, every educator plays an important role in supporting student success.
Special Education teachers support students with diverse learning needs, and Bilingual teachers provide instruction that strengthens both academic understanding and language development. These teachers help ensure students receive the instruction and support they need to succeed.
Educators who serve in these roles and meet certification requirements may be eligible for stipends.
Note: Educators who already hold a standard Texas teaching certificate may be eligible to pursue additional certification areas by passing the required exam. While individuals may begin serving in these roles as they work toward certification, stipends are awarded only after certification requirements have been successfully completed.
