Mesquite Promise Distinctions
The Mesquite Promise Distinction is a recognition program that honors MISD students and staff who consistently demonstrate one of the specific habits of the Mesquite Promise.
Only Mesquite ISD Staff and students logged in with their @mesquiteisd.org credentials may submit nominations. Nominees should consistently demonstrate the habit with impact (not just in a single moment).
Campus and department leadership will collect nominations monthly and recognize recipients with a personalized notecard and vinyl sticker.
Demonstrates curiosity and openness to exploring new ideas, opportunities, or perspectives.
Encourages others to step outside their comfort zones and try new learning or leadership experiences.
Models a growth mindset by embracing challenges as opportunities.
Builds strong, positive, and lasting relationships with peers, staff, and community members.
Prioritizes collaboration and teamwork to strengthen the school environment.
Demonstrates care, empathy, and commitment to fostering belonging.
Shows kindness, patience, and forgiveness when others make mistakes.
